What you’ll do at work

• Support the Finishing Operator to run the Gluing machines
• Sort product into good/bad which has been quarantined in any production workshop. This includes sorting on the run.
• Follow quarantine procedures
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the quarantine areas
• Cover for absence in the department as requested by the Coordinator/Manager. Duties will include:
• Feed the gluing machine to maintain running speeds and to ensure output is not slow
• Housekeeping of the Gluing Machine area, ensuring the area is clean, tidy, and safe
• To monitor the quality of the machine and its output, ensuring all work meets the required standards expected by timely quality checks, and supporting housekeeping and Quality Audits
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and all procedures to ensure compliance is consistent throughout
• Complete all necessary paperwork regarding the effective running of the Gluing machine
• Packing from Gluing machine; filling the cases of cartons onto wooden pallets at the end of the process
• Operate a PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) safely and appropriately
• To operate the PECAS work-ticket system effectively
