Upon successfully completing their apprenticeships, post-press specialists will emerge as adept professionals in the realm of print finishing, equipped to handle a diverse array of tasks with finesse and expertise. They will oversee the physical processes that occur after the printing stage, utilising a wide range of equipment to ensure every project reaches its full potential.

With a keen eye for detail and efficiency, they will monitor and adjust production schedules, ensuring seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks. They will meticulously select materials and consumables tailored to each job’s requirements, from adhesives to finishing materials, guaranteeing the desired outcome in terms of finish and quality.

Operating print finishing equipment will become nature to them, as they skillfully execute tasks while adhering to customer expectations and industry standards. They will be  adept at troubleshooting and maintenance, swiftly changing and replacing components as needed to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Through their mastery of post-press processes, they will play a crucial role in delivering finished products that exceed customer expectations and stand out in quality and craftsmanship.
