As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Tasks to include:

• Setup and operation of 3D Printing machines
• Metal and plastic powder processing and quality control
• Support structure removal and final finishing of metal parts produced from 3D Printing
• Operation of manual machine tools – drills, saws, grinder, lathe, mill etc
• Operation of inspection equipment to check manufactured product to required standard
• Maintenance and housekeeping of entire workshop including 3D printers, CNC and manual machines
